On June 26, 2021, the second academic conference of Health Management Branch of Chinese Nutrition Society and the 10th academic annual conference of Hubei Health Management Society was successfully held in Xiangyang, Hubei province. The Multi-Center Applied Research Expert Seminar on SDC2 Methylation Detection for Accurate Colorectal Cancer Screening in Average Risk Chinese Population (hereinafter referred to as Accurate CRC Screening Project) sponsored by China Health Promotion Foundation was successfully completed at the same time.

There were more than thirty health management directors from all over Hubei province attending the seminar. Among the present were some prestige speakers listed below: professor Shuzhong Bai, emeritus honorary council chair of China Health Promotion Foundation, emeritus honorary committee chair of Chinese Medical Association Health Management Branch; major general Xu Xigu, executive vice president and secretary general of China Health Promotion Foundation; Mr. Tang Shiqi, vice chairman of Health Management Branch of Chinese Medical Association; Mr. Fei Wu, director of Health Management Department of China Health Promotion Foundation; Ms. Zhuping Fan, director of Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine; Mr. Hongjun Li, director of health management Center at China-Japan Friendship Hospital of Jilin University.

Mr. Fei Wu presided the seminar. Ms. Zhuping Fan presented the theme report of SDC2 Methylation Detection for Accurate Colorectal Cancer Screening in Average Risk Chinese Population, elaborating the research objectives, methods, and current progress of the project, in which a better perspective was relayed to the new units involved in the project and the approach of the key points of the project was reviewed.

Her demonstration helped participating experts truly understand the application value of this technology and the development prospect in the field of health management.

After the exchange and discussion, Professor Shuzhong Bai made a summary and encouraged everyone to carry out community screening and do a good job connecting the target population with high-quality health care providers after screening. Presently, Professor Bai acknowledged the progress made by health management staff in early screening of colorectal cancer and encouraged them to continue to "stay together and innovate".
